Ideas Factories: "To enhance the training in complementary skills, the first school and the third workshop
will contain an Ideas Factory were ESRs will learn to put a scientific idea into a concrete grant or business
proposal: groups consisting of 3 ESRs will work out realistic proposals along the lines of either fundamental
research or an applied subject. This includes the formulation of the precise goal of research, the anticipated
methods for treating the problem as well as a realistic cost assessment. Subsequently, the proposals will be
evaluated by senior researchers of the network, and immediate feedback will be provided."
